The 17th annual Wine Cup® raised over $45,000 for the Washington Wine Industry Foundation’s programs, which strengthen the industry by advancing research, education, and leadership.
Over 100 golfers enjoyed shotgun Florida scramble play Monday, June 19 at Richland’s Meadow Springs Country Club, participating in contests and competitions with awards that included stay and play packages at Suncadia Resort, Semiahmoo Resort, and Skamania Lodge; Yeti coolers and gear; and other golf and wine prizes. The Mercer Canyons Rhone Cowboys team took home the coveted Wine Cup®. Allan Bros Fruit came in second place, followed by Washington Trust Bank.
Contest winners were: Mandy Galbreath (Women’s Longest Drive), Mike Mclaren (Men’s Longest Drive), Natasha Mendonca Jungers (Women’s Closest to the Pin – 21’7”), Bill Meyer (Men’s Closest to the Pin – 20’7”), Trudi Kochendorfer (Women’s Longest Putt – 12’1”), and Bryan Riel (Men’s Longest Putt – 34’1”).

The 18th Annual Wine Cup will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at a new location, Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington.
