Who We Are
A network with a shared vision
We are a network of growers, winemakers, goods-and-services providers, and wine-lovers with a shared vision: a thriving Washington wine industry.
Because this vision is too big for any one person or organization to own, our board and staff work to build relationships, create partnerships, and facilitate collaboration to make this vision a reality.
As one of the industry’s few 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, we are able to build, steward, and distribute funding for the industry in a way that others cannot. We take this responsibility and opportunity seriously, and so commitment, stewardship, and sustainability are our highest values.
What we do
A thriving industry
That is our shared vision. We achieve that vision by bringing together partners and facilitating funding to craft sustainable solutions to our industry’s challenges.
This results in programs and projects that produce direct benefits to the industry, including scholarships for wine-related continuing and higher education, events and partnership opportunities that bring the industry together, and projects addressing industry issues including sustainability, risk management, clean plants, safety, integrated pest management, and more.
In doing so, we hope to honor the legacy of industry leaders and invest in the future of Washington wine.
