Our vision is a thriving Washington wine industry.
We are a network of people who have helped grow the Washington wine industry from the beginning. Using that network and experience, we identify challenges facing the industry, bring together partners, and facilitate funding to craft sustainable solutions.
Addressing education needs.
With specific scholarships honoring the trailblazers of years past, our donors build a legacy. Beneficiaries will use those funds to build a future for the industry.
Washington wine collaboration series.
We believe the collaborative relationship between growers and winemakers has become a trademark of our industry. To showcase this relationship, once a year we connect a local grower with a local vintner to develop a one-of-a-kind barrel of Washington State Collaboration Series wine.
Funding solutions for sustainability resources.
Since 2002, the Foundation has been awarded over $3 million in Federal and state grants to help develop useful tools that guide various aspects of Washington winemaking and wine grape growing.
Strengthening and building partnerships.
The Washington Wine Industry Foundation is unique as one of the industry’s few 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. This enables us to build, steward, and distribute funding for the industry in a way that others cannot, thanks to Federal and state grants, sponsorships, and donations.
