Scholarships are key to encouraging the future education of students in the fields of viticulture and enology.  Part of the foundation’s mission is to help coordinate, manage and promote scholarships and grants given by the wine grape industry, as well as to develop resources for new ones.  The foundation serves as an umbrella organization on behalf of the wine grape industry to ensure contributions made by the industry are carefully managed and fully recognized.
