Education
Bringing together partners to facilitate funding.
With specific scholarships honoring the trailblazers of years past, our donors build a legacy. Beneficiaries will use those funds to build a future for the industry.
Scholarships
We facilitate scholarships on behalf of Washington’s wine industry for qualifying students pursuing studies in viticulture, enology, and other wine-related studies. Since 2002, over $437,000 has been awarded to over 250 Washington students.
Bill Powers Sabbatical
Enabling a Washington State grape or wine industry professional to undertake a sabbatical in an established wine-producing region of the world to learn about an aspect of winegrape growing and/or winemaking.
AgForestry Grape Seat
Over 18 months, AgForestry Leadership presents 11 in-state, one national, and one international intensive hands-on learning seminars at public/private institutions of higher education, leading businesses, organizations, and in the field. Together with Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Washington Winegrowers, we make sure there is an opportunity for a wine industry member.
